Guo Gengmao, provincial party chief and director of Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress inspected Yutong New Energy Bus Plant on July 16, 2013. Liu Chunliang, Wu Tianjun and other provincial and municipal leaders accompanied him during the inspection.

Accompanied by Tang Yuxiang, president of Yutong Group, Guo and his entourage arrived at the assembly workshop of city buses in the new energy bus plant. Walking in the spacious, clean and bright workshop, Guo asked about the production technique, technical renovation and so on from time to time. Tang briefly reported the company’s production and business status as well as the operational information of the new energy bus plant to Guo.   

Provincial party chief inspects Yutong

During the visit, Guo listened to the detailed introduction on the overall planning of Yutong industrial park made by Tang, and spoke highly of it. Guo encouraged Yutong to take full use of the advantages of industrial clustering, carry out product upgrading and technical renovation and make more contribution to the development of China’s auto industry while developing the Yutong industrial park into an industrial business card of Henan province.   

The orderly arranged show buses at the new energy bus plant attracted Guo’s attention. He boarded the business purpose vehicle, electric city bus and airport bus to    experience the ride feeling. In front of the electric bus, Guo asked about the sales and operating status of fuel-saving and environment-friendly products, and recognized the performances of Yutong products. Finally, Guo encouraged Yutong to maintain the competitive edge of its products, manufacture more and more better products and promote the healthy development of the whole industry.
